The Storehouse Cafe

We run our Fridays at Emmanuel’s Yard more as a community space, part of this is the Storehouse Cafe. The cafe run on Fridays 9.30 - 2.30pm for a range of drinks, cakes and savoury treats. It is a fantastic space that is open to the public and where community groups can meet or friends old and new get together. The cafe is run by our fantastic Storehouse Team which means all profits go back into the Storehouse projects (Foodbank, Community lunch, Nexus drop in and shower facilities).

Our food is all baked in house and our speciality coffee is supplied by Redemption Roaster. The world’s first prison based coffee company seeking to train offenders in the hospitality industry. Their aim is to equip and reduce re-offending.

We also have a community craft table where you can meet other people and get crafty!

We have some great breakout spaces that are private - ideal for running a group of some kind. Or you may want to hire them for a working space.

The cafe is run for and by the community. If you would like to find out more about being part of the volunteer team, click the link below!

As part of aiming to look after our community we offer a PAY IT FORWARD scheme. This is a way to pay for someones drink or food who may be struggling to afford it. This is directly linked to our food bank and Nexus project which runs throughout the week.

As part of the Pay It Forward scheme we pay for school holiday meals for kids. Keep an eye on our social media for this.

Pay it forward is a great way to share some love. If you or someone you know could do with a gifted cup of coffee and cake feel to bring them along to the cafe. It’s as easy as just letting who ever is taking your order know that you would like a pay it forward.
